People who came for treatment returned empty-handed: Due to the strike of health workers since Wednesday, health services were severely affected in all government hospitals in the sub-division, including Piro Hospital. People who came to the hospital for treatment on Wednesday morning had to return empty-handed. During this time, doctors were present at the hospital, but due to the closure of medicine distribution and other services, people could not get treatment. BJP leader Bhim Ojha, who came to Piro Hospital for treatment on Wednesday, termed the strike and demonstration being carried out by the striking workers on the hospital premises as wrong and said that the workers who are on strike for their demands should take out strike and demonstration at the block and sub-divisional office so that there is no disruption in emergency and other health services at the hospital.
