Neeraj Chopra He suffered anguish in the Diamond League in Brussels and missed out on the trophy by a margin of 1 cm. The two-time Olympic medallist achieved a best throw of 87.86 m. Anderson Peterswho won and finished on top, threw the javelin a distance of 87.87 m to win the Diamond League. He finished with a throw of 87.86 m. Anderson won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.
Neeraj started the competition with a throw of 86.82 m. He then threw 83.49 m. In his third attempt, Neeraj threw the javelin to a distance of 87.86 m. He came close to Anderson’s mark and was just one centimetre away from him.
Neeraj failed to clear the 85m mark in his next two attempts. He finished the event with a throw of 86.46m. Neeraj’s best throw allowed him to finish in second place once again. He won the Diamond League in 2022, while he finished second in 2023.
Anderson produced his best throw on his first attempt. He started the event with a throw of 87.87 m. He followed that up with throws of 86.96 m and 85.40 m.
