Companies producing plastic will be fined Rs 20,000.

This new rule has been approved in the NDMC board meeting. NDMC Chairman Naresh Kumar, Vice Chairman Satish Upadhyay, Member Kuljit Singh Chahal and other members were present in the meeting. This means that now you may have to pay a fine if you organize a bhandaara, langar or chabeel without permission in the NDMC area.

NDMC made new plastic waste rule

According to NDMC vice-president Satish Upadhyay and member Kuljit Singh Chahal, several proposals were presented in the board meeting, including the plastic waste rule. On the lines of MCD, NDMC has also made a plastic waste rule.
If companies producing plastic violate the rules, then according to the new NDMC rule, there is a provision to impose a fine of up to 20 thousand rupees on them. There is a provision of a fine of up to 10 thousand rupees for organizing a program without permission or organizing a program of more than 20 people at one place without permission.

Agreement with CRRI for road maintenance

A fine of Rs 5,000 can be imposed for burning plastic waste. A fine of Rs 2,000 can be imposed on those who spread plastic waste. There is also a proposal to take suggestions from CRRI (Central Road Research Institute) for the maintenance and quality of all the roads in the NDMC area. A survey will be conducted by CRRI experts to determine the thickness of the roads and where the problems lie. After the survey, the quality of the roads will be improved. Apart from this, the proposal for the process of purchase and sale of medicines has also been approved.
