Doctor RG Kar murder case: The Calcutta High Court is angry with the bad posts on social media about the victim of RG Kar Hospital. The court has directed CBI to submit its report in this regard by September 18. The court said that no person in the society will accept such bad comments.

The court said that in the copy of the objectionable post submitted by the petitioner, it is seen that vile comments have been made along with the victim’s photograph on social media. The petitioner requested that in the context of this unfortunate and barbaric incident, CBI be directed to investigate cyber crimes.
CBI Kolkata Deputy Director should investigate mispublication
The court asked the central agency’s lawyer, Additional Solicitor General Ashok Kumar Chakraborty, whether he would be able to find a way to block such posts. CBI asked to submit report by September 18
The court asked the CBI Deputy Director or any other competent officer to submit a report in this regard by September 18. Justice Hiranmoy Bhattacharya was also included in the court. After the order was issued, Ashok Kumar Chakraborty told the court that CBI does not have any separate branch to investigate such cyber crimes.
CBI request: State police should also file a separate report
He said the state police has a special unit to monitor such cases. He appealed before the court that the cybercrime wing of the West Bengal government should also be directed to file a separate report. The court said it will consider this request during the next hearing of the case.
CBI is investigating
On August 9, the body of a junior doctor posted on duty at the RG Kar Medical College was found in the seminar room of the hospital. This heinous incident has caused outrage across the country. CBI is investigating the case since the second week of August.
