Hindustan Zinc Limited will organise a half marathon in its fight against hunger in Udaipur on September 29, an official said.

He said the marathon’s theme, “Run for Zero Hunger,” resonates with the philosophy of giving back to society, aligning with the broader goal of fighting hunger.

“The aim of the marathon is to inspire a healthier India and contribute to the noble fight against hunger. The marathon is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the community and the well-being of people,” said Arun Misra, Managing Director, Hindustan Zinc Limited.

With categories including half marathon (21 kilometers), Cool Run (10 kilometers) and Dream Run (five kilometers), the event will feature professional and amateur runners from around the world.
