Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday received a cheque for Rs 19.08 crore as dividend from Repco Bank, a Government of India undertaking functioning under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Shah congratulated Repco Bank for achieving the remarkable feat of registering a stellar growth rate of 11 per cent in the financial year 2023-24.

“Today, on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs, I have received a cheque for Rs 19.08 crore from the Chairman of Repco Bank, Shri E Santhanam and Managing Director, Shri OM Gokul, as dividend on the share capital of the Government of India. The bank, under the administrative jurisdiction of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has demonstrated what can be achieved with commitment to serve the nation,” the Home Minister said in a post on X.
