Houston’s Beyoncé Knowles-Carter launches new Sir Davis whiskey made in Texas

SirDavis is a way for me to pay tribute to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy.”

Award-winning Master Distiller Bill Lumsden helped craft the whiskey, hand-selecting the bespoke blend comprised of 51 percent rye and 49 percent malted barley. Lumsden then incorporated techniques to impose textures reminiscent of Japanese and Scotch whiskeys, with the deep flavor of classic American rye whiskey. Matured in sherry casks, the whiskey receives its finishing touches in the Lone Star State, where it is finished, blended and bottled in an elegant fluted glass design stamped with a black medallion featuring a bronze horse.

The whiskey has already made waves in the spirits world. Prior to its release, the SirDavis team anonymously submitted the whiskey to several spirits competitions, where it won the award for Best American Whiskey of 2023. SIP Awards and a gold medal from the New York International Spirits Competition.

Priced at $89 per bottle, SirDavis is now available for preorder onlineIt will be sold in several stores in the United States, London, Paris and Tokyo, and in select airports in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco starting in September.
