Hyundai Exter expands its range of variants with new features
Hyundai Motor Company has enhanced its Exter model with the introduction of two additional variants, the S+ (AMT) and the S(O)+ (MT). These new offerings feature a sunroof, a digital instrument cluster with a colour TFT display for the driver, an eight-inch infotainment screen, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
The Exter, which is targeted primarily at a younger demographic, has gained significant popularity within the small car segment. The S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT) variants are priced at Rs 7.86 lakh and Rs 8.44 lakh respectively, making them attractive options for budget-conscious buyers looking for a well-equipped vehicle.
Hyundai’s strategy of offering high-end variant features at lower prices has proven successful. In the case of the Exter, the new variants offer an attractive value proposition.
While the Creta remains Hyundai’s best-selling model, the Exter competes favourably with other offerings in its segment such as the Tata Punch and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The Exter’s strong points include its comprehensive feature set, six airbags as standard, a reliable 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a spacious interior.
