Hyundai Venue: Hyundai has announced the launch of a new variant of the Venue range. This variant, called the S+, is priced at Rs 9.36 lakh (ex-showroom) and is Rs 64,000 cheaper than the recently added S(O)+ variant that was launched earlier this month and will be priced till the Venue S+ is launched. It was a budget variant of the Venue with an electric sunroof.
The new inclusion slots in between the lower-spec S and mid-spec S(O) variants. This makes the Venue one of the most affordable sunroof SUVs in its segment. The most affordable SUV in this space with an electric sunroof is the Mahindra XUV 3XO, which offers an electric sunroof in the MX2 Pro variant priced at Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Venue: Characteristics
Apart from the power sunroof, this subcompact SUV has many additional features. Which includes a digital infotainment cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Further enhancing the comfort and convenience. The vehicle also comes with rear air conditioning vents and automatic headlights along with many other premium features.
In terms of safety, the Venue S+ comes with features like six airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Electronic Stability Control, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control and Traction Control.

The Venue S(O)+ is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated Kappa petrol engine that produces 82 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. In this variant, the engine is exclusively mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Other engine options in the Venue range include a 1.0-litre GDI turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
