Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has joined hands with Academy of Digital Health Sciences to launch the fourth edition of Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Digital Health (PGCPDH) and Diploma Programme in Digital Health (DPDH).
The year-long PGCPDH and DPDH will provide future leaders with a comprehensive understanding of the changing digital health landscape.
It is worth noting that registration for both programs began on August 1, 2024, and classes will begin in November of this year.

According to a press release, both programs aim to provide in-depth exposure to students across a wide range of medical and technological areas, including telemedicine, data analytics, digital health policy, entrepreneurship, and more, through comprehensive online classes.

Assessment will be done through a questionnaire at the end of each chapter and 4-week Thesis/Internship module.
There will be three levels of the curriculum:
- Basic Level: The theoretical aspects of digital health will be explored in depth.
- Advanced Level: It will focus on the technological and management aspects of digital health.
- Professional Level: You will understand the application aspects of digital health with use cases.
Additionally, PGCPDH and DPDH participants will also have the opportunity to attend a three-day personal immersion programme at IIM Raipur that will offer them hands-on learning and networking opportunities.

Speaking about the programmes, Professor Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur, said the collaboration with the Academy of Digital Sciences reflects IIM Raipur’s focus on improving India’s healthcare ecosystem.
“The jointly developed programs are a perfect blend of technological and traditional expertise, offering participants the best of both worlds. I encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity to deepen their knowledge, expand their networks, and become future leaders in this transformative field,” he said.
Who is eligible?
Candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and are 25 years of age as of February 2024 are eligible to apply for the Diploma Programme in Digital Health, the statement said.
In particular, applicants with professional qualifications are exempt from the minimum age criterion.
For the Graduate Certificate Programme in Digital Health, candidates holding a graduation degree or its equivalent with work experience of a minimum of two years as doctors, healthcare professionals, managers working in healthcare settings, paramedics and allied healthcare professionals, healthcare IT professionals, medical technology professionals, pharmaceutical industry professionals, clinical informatics professionals, hospital administrators, healthcare academics and researchers, healthcare consultants/advisors, healthcare policy makers, public sector leaders, heads of community health centres and heads of primary health centres are eligible to apply.
