IIM Raipur and SIDBI launch advanced certification programme
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has launched its new Advanced Certificate Programme in Entrepreneurship and New Business Creation, known as “SWAVALAMBAN Skill to Enterprise Model (STEM)”. This 18-month programme, created in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Raipur, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), is designed to equip 30 emerging entrepreneurs with the essential skills and knowledge needed to launch and grow successful businesses.

SWAVALAMBAN is an integrated, blended-curriculum course that offers top-notch academic and professional mentorship free of cost. It brings together thirty aspiring entrepreneurs for hands-on training, providing them with exceptional guidance from industry experts and exposure to real-world case studies.
The programme offers a variety of opportunities, including a blended learning experience with both online and offline modules for a well-rounded education. Participants will benefit from practical training through case studies and exercises, allowing them to apply their knowledge to their ventures. They will also receive one-on-one mentoring from experienced industry professionals, who will support them throughout their entrepreneurial journey. Academic modules will include field experiments, applied projects and real-world case studies to help develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
This is a uniquely designed curriculum, which will be led by a team of reputed experts. The Programme Director, Professor Satyasiba Das, known for his extensive experience in entrepreneurship education, will guide the programme along with the Programme Co-Director, Professor Saroj Kumar Pani, who brings a wealth of knowledge in entrepreneurship and innovation. Professor S. Ram Kumar, a member of the programme, will bring his expertise in the field of strategy and business development, and Ms. Munmun Panda, the Programme Coordinator, will ensure smooth administration and support throughout the process.
