IITs that did not make it into NIRF Engineering Rankings 2024: Top IITs ranked in order
Indian Institutes of Technology, IIT They are still at the top of the rankings NIRF India Rankings 2024. In the Engineering category, the top 10 spots are occupied by IITs. Out of the total 23 IITs, 21 made it to the list of top engineering colleges. However, IIT Goa and IIT Dharwad could not secure any spot in the top 100 list of the NIRF rankings.
In the overall category of NIRF ranking, IIT Bhubaneshwar is also out of the list. In the engineering category, IIT BBS is ranked 53rd. If compared to NIRF ranking 2023, IIT Dharwad managed at least 93rd rank in the engineering category but this year it is not even in the top 100.
According to IIT Goa, it did not rank in the top 100 in 2023 or 2024.

IIT Madras has maintained its top position in the overall category for the sixth consecutive year, from 2019 to 2024, while the institute has secured the number one position in the engineering category for the ninth consecutive year, from 2016 to 2024.
