Inspector Shivendra Kumar of the Liquor, Prohibition and Excise Department in Muzaffarpur informed about this destruction on Wednesday. Speaking to the media, he said that on Tuesday he received secret information that on the premises of a government building in Phanda village in Paru area of ​​the district, bottles of foreign liquor were kept in sealed cartons in bags in a corner of the premises. Following which our team raided there and recovered the liquor.

He said that this premises was for activities related to the Panchayat Department and the headmistress is in charge of the building. Later, during investigation, Mukhiya’s husband and six others from the village were arrested after registering a case under the provisions of the State Prohibition Act.
