India Post’s recruitment drive aims to fill 44,228 GDS posts across India. The selection process is based on candidates’ 10th grade marks, with no interview or written exam.
The merit list of various postal districts including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal has been released. The results of other districts are expected soon.

The next phase for shortlisted candidates is Document Verification (DV), followed by Medical Examination (ME). This ensures that only eligible candidates proceed with the process. If vacancies remain, additional merit lists will be released.
India Post has invited applications for these posts from July 15 to August 5, 2024. Applicants are advised to regularly check the official website for updates on merit lists and further rounds in the selection process.
