Candidates registered for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment can check the initial merit list on the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in once it is released.
The cut-off marks and other additional details are also expected to be released along with the merit list. The merit list will be based on the marks obtained or conversion of marks/points to marks of the 10th grade secondary examination, rounded to four decimal places. Along with the merit list, the organisation is expected to release the cut-off marks and other relevant details.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a physical verification process, the dates of which will be communicated to them via SMS to their registered mobile phone numbers. In addition, successful candidates will be required to submit an undertaking, as per Annex IX, confirming the accuracy of the information provided.
India Post will fill 44,228 Gramin Dak Sevak posts in 23 postal circles across the country. The registration period was from July 15 to August 5, 2024, with a correction period from August 6 to August 8, 2024.
