Venttup, an Industry 5.0 startup focused on building a global engineering network and scalable capabilities with India at its epicenter, has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed investment. funds round led by Unicorn India Ventures.
The startup plans to use the capital raised to accelerate business growth and technological development for the management of the indigenization program.

Founded by industry veterans with extensive experience from Hitachi Energy, Siemens, L&T and Kalpataru Power – Sandeep Nair (Co-Founder & CEO), M. Wasim Ankli (Co-Founder & COO) and Joseph Panakkal (Co-Founder & CMO) – Venttup aims to revolutionize the manufacturing landscape by uniting millions of manufacturing MSMEs on a single digital platform.
The startup said that by equipping these companies with a resilient and sustainable supply chain, it increases operational efficiency and promotes environmental responsibility.

We help large companies in outsourcing
Venttup helps large companies outsource their engineering needs while enabling them to reduce their carbon footprint through cloud manufacturing and sustainable practices.
The startup offers localized production of critical engineering solutions and highly customized complex components across the energy, electric vehicles, aerospace and defense sectors, driving India’s manufacturing industry towards self-reliance and sustainable growth.
“Venttup addresses a significant manufacturing challenge by reducing dependency on imported components, promoting the China Plus One strategy and aligning with government initiatives to increase local content in critical projects. This enables Venttup to offer a comprehensive set of resources for end-to-end management of the component localization program,” said Sandeep Nair, Co-Founder and CEO of Venttup Ventures.
“Our aim is to create a one-stop platform for global buyers to source quality, tested products from India, driving the country’s transformation into a global manufacturing hub,” Nair added.
With the aim of expanding the national presence
Venttup aims to expand its domestic presence by establishing operations across India while positioning India as a premier sourcing hub for global buyers.
The startup plans to leverage India’s manufacturing capabilities to enter high-growth international markets, with a focus on the Middle East and Africa, Europe and North America.
By executing this multi-pronged strategy, Venttup seeks to unlock new revenue streams, foster global partnerships and solidify its position as a leading exporter of components manufactured in India, the statement said.
Recently launched GATE Process, a proprietary methodology that reflects Agile/Scrum principles, ensuring structured progress in component localization.
Venttup has introduced a range of sustainable products, including an evaporative cooling system designed for industrial and commercial applications.
It has also launched an ESG advisory business aimed at empowering MSMEs to improve their environmental, social and governance initiatives, further driving sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
Objective: to increase revenue fivefold
Over the next 12 months, the startup aims to increase its revenue fivefold by building a high-performing team, attracting a diverse clientele and expanding its reach into new markets.
In terms of customers, Venttup aims to add 50 new customers to its platform.
