Infinix launches Hot 50 5G smartphone priced at ₹8,999

Affordable smartphone brand Infinix has unveiled the HOT 50 5G, which it claims is the slimmest 5G smartphone in its segment at 7.8mm. Pricing starts at 8,999, Infinix said the device is targeted at a wide range of users, from tech enthusiasts to everyday consumers.

The HOT 50 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor and comes in two memory options: 4GB + 128GB (₹8,999 including bank offers) and 8GB+128GB (₹9,999 including bank offers)with expandable storage up to 1TB via microSD. The smartphone runs on XOS 14 based on Android 14.

The device features a 6.7-inch punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 93.9% screen-to-body ratio. Its camera system includes a 48MP main camera with multiple shooting modes and an 8MP front camera for selfies.

The HOT 50 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and reverse charging. It also includes AI features like ASK AI and an AI wallpaper generator.

The HOT 50 5G is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance and will be available in Sleek Black, Vibrant Blue, Sage Green, and Dreamy Purple (two-tone leather) colors.

The smartphone will be available on Flipkart starting September 9.
