Influencer uses a face mask made from poop.

A Instagram Influencer who previously went viral for using menstrual blood as face mask Now it has taken its strange form skin care Brazilian model Debora Peixoto has taken her routine to a new extreme by using her own feces. Medical professionals have described Brazilian model Debora Peixoto’s unconventional regimen as a serious problem, warning that it can cause “redness and discomfort,” according to the New York Post. In the video, Peixoto pulls out a small container from the fridge, which apparently contains her own feces. She proceeds to apply it all over her face, letting it sit for a while before washing it off. After completing the unorthodox (and disgusting) routine, she flaunts her clear skin.

“The craziest thing I’ve ever done in my life: I smeared my feces all over my face! Now he doesn’t want to be around me lol. I saw a study about it and decided to try it. It worked for me; my skin stopped peeling!” reads the caption, translated from Portuguese to English. She posted the video on her Instagram profile, claiming she did it to “prevent aging.”

Speaking to the New York Post, Dr Sophie Momen, a consultant dermatologist at London’s Cadogan Clinic, said this is one of the “weirdest” skincare practices she’s come across and stressed that there is no scientific basis for it. Dr Momen also warned that this routine could lead to food poisoning and viral infections.

“Faeces contain a large number of bacteria, viruses and parasites, including E. coli, Salmonella and helminths, which can cause serious infections and diseases,” plastic surgeon Tunc Tiryaki told the outlet.

“Applying feces to the face can introduce these pathogens into the body through small cuts, abrasions or mucous membranes, leading to serious skin infections or systemic diseases,” the doctor added.
