Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party has accused the Lodha Group of grabbing the lands of the most backward Manjhi caste farmers in Ayodhya. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav And SP Media Cell posted on social media about this and wrote that people of Lodha Group are vandalizing farmers. On the other hand, Lodha Group has termed this allegation as false. The spokesperson of Lodha Ventures claims that the land in question was sold to us by a farmer. When we went to take possession of that land, a group of goons armed with sticks etc. attacked our people and injured them severely. Our people have suffered serious head injuries and have been admitted to hospital and their condition is critical. We have lodged an FIR and police have also made arrests. Let us tell you that SP Media Cell posted on social media that big industrialists are occupying the lands of Dalit/Backward Class farmers. Since the Ram Mandir decision, Ayodhya has become a ‘hot spot’ for property (real estate) and all the BJP/Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath/big industrialists want to wash their hands/bathe/grab land in the flowing Saryu. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also posted the video and said, ‘Arrest of farmers in Ayodhya and helping billionaires… Is there a government in Uttar Pradesh or has it withdrawn?

‘Land grabbing businesses disguised as saints’

The post reads, ‘Land grabbing, business and scams are rampant in Ayodhya and Yogi is directly involved in all this as he directly monitors all the affairs of Ayodhya.’ SP also posted two videos and said, ‘Now listen to the game and story in this news and video.’ The post read, ‘Abhinandan Lodha group is occupying the lands of the extremely backward class Manjhi community people and their goons are forcefully attacking, coercing and hooliganising farmers in Ayodhya. The police administration has betrayed Yogi’s instructions. And it is supporting the Lodha group unethically and has sent farmers to jail.’ SP also said, ‘Yogi Adityanath is involved in the business of grabbing valuable lands across Uttar Pradesh in the name of power and authority and is doing all this in the garb of a saint/yogi. This is shameful, gruesome and dangerous.

Ayodhya police responded

Responding to SP Media Cell’s post, Ayodhya Police responded on ‘X’: ‘The police station in charge of Ayodhya has registered an FIR in this regard and is taking legal action. The facts written in the post are not true.
