IT giant Infosys will announce its second quarter results on this date

Information systems has set a date to announce its results for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25. According to the company’s filing with the stock exchange, the IT firm will announce quarterly earnings for the July-September quarter next month.

The company announced its first quarter results on July 18, 2024, with the IT firm reporting a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 6,368 crore in Q1FY25, up 7.1% from Rs 5,945 crore in the same period last year. The company’s operating income for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 was Rs 39,315 crore, up 3.6% from Rs 37,933 crore in the same period last fiscal.

He IT Giant will declare its second-quarter results on October 17. In addition to its second-quarter 2025 results, the IT firm could declare a dividend, if any.

According to the company’s stock exchange filing, “Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, October 16 and 17, 2024, to, among other things:

1. To approve and record the audited consolidated financial results of the Company and its subsidiaries in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (INDAS) for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2024; 2. To approve and record the audited stand-alone financial results of the Company in accordance with INDAS for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2024.

“Consider declaring an interim dividend, if applicable. The financial results and the proposal for an interim dividend, if applicable, will be submitted to the Board of Directors on October 17, 2024 for approval,” the document adds.

On Friday, Infosys shares closed at Rs 1,944.30, down 0.31 per cent from the previous day’s close. The stock’s 52-week high and low are Rs 1,975.05 and Rs 1,352, respectively.
