Process of presenting the Certificate of Life through “facial authentication”

Step 1
The pensioner/family needs to go to Google for “Aadhaar UIDAI’s “Face App” with the latest version. Step 2
After successfully installing the Aadhaar Face RD app on your device, it will appear in the Application Manager app settings. This app is used for the background process of the Pramaan app, so it is mandatory to install it.

Step 3
Once the Aadhaar Face RD app is installed on your Android smartphone/device, the pensioner/family pensioner needs to download another app called “The living principle” from Google Play Store.

Step 4
After successfully installing both the applications, the pensioner/family pensioner should open the “Jeevan Pramaan” application.
You will be taken to the “Operator Authentication” screen where you will need to provide your personal data as follows:
1. Click on the Aadhaar checkbox.
2. Enter the Aadhaar number.
3. Enter the mobile number.
4. Enter the email address.
5. Click the Submit button.

Step 5
After providing all the information, the Operator (Pensioner/Family Pensioner/any other person on behalf of the Pensioner/Family Pensioner) has to send the OTP (One Time Password) sent to his/her respective mobile number and email address.

Step 6
After entering the OTP, the Jeevan Pramaan app will direct the operator (pensioner/family pensioner/any other person acting on behalf of the pensioner/family pensioner) to a screen where he/she needs to enter his/her Aadhaar number and name. He/she needs to tick the box and then select Scan. The app will ask for permission to scan the face and the pensioner/family pensioner needs to press “Yes” to proceed.

Step 7
The app will provide instructions and guidelines for facial scanning before scanning.
The pensioner or their family member should study them carefully. To continue, users should check the box “I am aware of this” and press the continue button. The application will take a photo of their face.
Note: 1. Operator authentication is a one-time process.
2. The pensioner may also be an operator.
3. After the operator authentication, a screen will open for the pensioner authentication.
4. An operator can generate DLC for multiple Pensioners.

Step 8
After the Operator Authentication, a screen opens for the Pensioner Authentication (Image-1) where they must provide their personal data as follows:
1. Click on the Aadhaar checkbox.
2. Enter the Aadhaar number.
3. Enter the mobile number.
4. Enter the email address (not required).
5. Click the “Submit” button.
6. When you click on the Submit button, an option appears on the screen ‘Enter OTP’ (Image 2)
7. Enter the OTP and click on the Submit button.

Step 9
After submitting the OTP, a screen (Image 1) will appear where the following information needs to be provided: 1. Full name as per Aadhaar 2. Type of Pension 3. Sanctioning Authority 4. Disbursing Agency 5. PPO Number 6. Account Number (Pension) 7. Click on the Declarations 8. Click on the Submit button 9. A permission to confirm will appear on the screen.

Step 1
A screen will appear to provide consent and permission to scan. Click scan. The face scanning process will begin.

After scanning the face, the DLC submission appears on the mobile screen along with the Pramaan ID and PPO number. To download the certificate, visit the website, log in and enter your Jeevan Pramman ID.
