Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission public hearing, strong opposition to electricity tariff hike

Electricity tariff: The Ranchi-Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission held a public hearing on the proposed tariff of JBVNL for the financial year 2024-25 at IMA Bhawan on Monday. This was the last public hearing on this tariff. Those present on this occasion were unanimously opposed to the tariff. It said that the new tariff was implemented this year in April 2024. So there should not be another tariff in the same year.

On behalf of the Commission, Member Law Mahendra Prasad and Member Technology Atul Kumar addressed the hearing. Director (Commercial) Arvind Kumar, Ranchi GM PK Srivastava and other officials were present on behalf of the corporation.
