JKSSB Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Registration ends today, 7th September 2024. The direct link to apply is provided here.

Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, JKSSB will close the registration process for the posts of Constable on 7th September 2024. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of JKSSB at jkssb.nic.in. This recruitment drive will fill 4002 posts in the organisation.

The registration process for sheriff positions began on August 8, 2024.

Candidates who wish to apply for the posts can check their educational qualifications and age limits through the detailed notification given here.

The selection process consists of a written test, a physical level test and a physical endurance test. The written exam will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. The questions will be asked in English only. Each incorrect answer will be marked negatively up to a quarter of the mark assigned to that question.

Candidates will be shortlisted to appear for the standard physical test on the basis of the written test, which will be six times the total number of vacancies to be filled in each category.

Candidates can follow these simple steps to apply online.

  • Visit the official website of JKSSB at jkssb.nic.in.
  • Click on the login details and a new page will open.
  • Register and fill out the application form.
  • Once this is done, make the payment of the application fee.
  • Click submit and download the page.
  • Keep a printed copy of the same for future needs.

The application fee is 700/-. In case of candidates belonging to SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS categories, the fee payable will be 600/-. The fee can be paid through online mode – Internet Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card. Applications received without the prescribed fee will not be considered and will be rejected immediately.
