Joju George’s Directorial Debut Pani Gets A Release Window

Juggling actor jorge’s award‘s directorial debut movie Pani The film is set to release in September, the makers confirmed on Saturday, August 10. Along with the announcement, the film’s team also informed that the film will be released in five languages. The team is currently busy with the final stages of post-production, after which the promotions are expected to begin in full swing.

Joju George took to his official Instagram account to share a new poster of the film featuring him in shades of red, orange and yellow, with the emotional caption, “GRIEF CHANGES PEOPLE… Finally, my directorial debut @panimovie is hitting theatres in September. 60+ new faces, 100+ days of shoot, thousands of young artistes, with a huge budget, in 5 languages. Thanks to my entire team @panimovie and @sreegokulammoviesofficial. Need your blessings. Updates soon.”

We had already reported this when the first poster of this highly anticipated film was published online. The first teaser for the film, which was also written by the actor, was posted on social media on May 28.

The makers of Pani have shared new stills featuring him and Abhinaya, who seems to be playing the role of his wife in the film. While Joju’s character in the film is named Giri, Abhinaya plays Gouri. The actor also took to his social media to share the pictures of him and Abhinaya in character. The pictures show both of them at the location of Sree Vadakkumnathan temple in Thrissur.

An extensive cast for the film

The upcoming film is expected to be a suspense drama that will show Joju in a different avatar. The cast of Pani will also feature a bevy of talented actors including Seema, Chandini Sreedharan, Abhaya Hiranmayi, Sona Maria Abraham, Merlet Ann Thomas, Lankha Lakshmi, Sarah Rose Joseph, Babu Namboothiri, Prashanth Alexander, Sujith Shanker, Ranjith Velayudhan, Bitto Davis, Rinosh George, Ian and Ivan, Ambu, Ramesh Girija, Doney Johnson, Bobby Kurien, Sagar and Junaiz.

The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Venu ISC, editor Manu Antony, colourist DI Liju Prabhakar and music director Vishnu Vijay.
