“The group is planning additional investment, earmarked at around 300 million yen, reflecting the KAI Group’s commitment to strengthening its manufacturing infrastructure,” it said.
The expected completion time for this expansion is five months and the company expects the enhanced production capacity to be operational by the end of December 2024.
This expansion is in line with the project ‘Made in India‘ initiative, strengthening local manufacturing and meeting the growing demand of local and international markets.

The market demand and growth trends for these products indicate a “strong uptick” driven by rising consumer awareness and increasing emphasis on personal care. “The expanded production capacity will enable Kai India to meet this growing demand efficiently and maintain its competitive edge in the market,” he added.
Kai Group, established over 115 years ago, entered the Indian market in 2016 and set up a manufacturing facility at Neemrana in Rajasthan.
