Kangana Ranaut: Farmer’s protest to Rahul Gandhi’s caste, list of BJP MP’s controversial remarks

Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is now also an MP, is often in the spotlight for her controversial comments. Recently, the Mandi MP claimed on X that “there were dead bodies hanging and rapes” during the farmers’ protest against the three now-repealed farm laws.

“Outside forces are planning to destroy us with the help of insiders. If it had not been for the foresight of our leaders, they would have succeeded,” he added.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has distanced itself from the actress’s comments. and asked her to refrain from making such statements in future. “On behalf of the party, Kangana Ranaut is neither authorised nor permitted to make statements on matters of party policy,” the party said in a statement.

The party’s statement came after what has been a series of controversial statements from the actress-turned-politician. He met party president JP Nadda. at his residence in Delhi on Thursday morning

1. In Punjab

In a viral video, Kangana A CISF constable allegedly slapped her at the Chandigarh airport for her remarks on the farmers’ protest. After the incident, she said she was “concerned about the terrorism and extremism that are on the rise in Punjab.”

2. About Rahul Gandhi

Kangana shared an old video of Rahul Gandhi and said, “You don’t know anything about your own caste, your grandfather is Muslim, your grandmother is Parsi, your mother is Christian and it looks like someone has tempered pasta with curry leaves to make rice and lentils but you want to know everyone’s caste.”

Following allegations by US short-seller Hindenburg Research against market regulator SEBI, Rahul Gandhi has issued a warning about the integrity of stock markets. In response, Kangana accused him of “trying everything possible to destabilise the nation”, its economy and security.

3. About Rihanna

In 2020-21, several international figures posted messages of support for the farmers’ protest. Singer Rihanna was also one of those who tweeted in support of the protests. In response to her, Kangana He alleged that the singer was paid “at least ₹100 crore” for her tweet.

In a tweet on X, she wrote: “She is a singer like Sunidhi Chauhan or Neha Kakkar. She can shake her butt cheeks and expose her butt crack directly to the camera lens while singing. Yes, that’s it. Nothing more.”

She also harshly criticised Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg, calling her a “spoiled brat”. “No posh activist will talk about a real environmentalist like our own grandmother… but they will definitely promote the stupid spoiled @GretaThunberg who is being used by the whole left lobby and in return skips education and school,” she posted on X.

5. Kangana Ranaut vs. Diljit Dosanjh

During the height of the farmers’ protest, the actress misidentified an elderly woman as Bilkis Bano of Shaheen Bagh and said that she joined the protest for a fee of Rs 100. Diljit criticised the actress for the same. He posted a video of the real farmer, Mahinder Kaur, and slammed Kangana for her insensitive remarks.

6. The first Prime Minister of India

Earlier, he claimed that Subash Chandra Bose was the first Prime Minister of India, not Jawaharlal Nehru. He then shared an article on his Instagram Stories that mentioned how Subhash Chandra Bose declared himself Prime Minister in 1943. The story’s description read, “Some general knowledge for beginners.”

He does not regret his controversial statements:

Kangana recently said that she does not regret any of her statements. “People who are dishonest, who have hurt others, who are unfair, see me and they are afraid of me, they fear me,” she added.

“If my statements are so absurd, can you think of any in which…? No, I have never, ever said anything that is not true. I have never fought with anyone, but if they mess with me, I am the one who ends the fight and takes care of it. But I have never started a fight,” she said.
