Kangana Ranaut seeks police protection after receiving death threats over emergency report

In the viral video, a person can be heard saying: “If you post this picture, the elders will wear slippers on you. Lafaa toh aapne liya. I am a very proud Indian. If I see you anywhere in my country and Maharashtra, I tell you not only as a Sikh and a proud Marathi, but all my Hindu, Christian and Muslim brothers will also welcome you with chappals.
Kangana reacted to the video on her X account and asked the police for help. Her tweet read, “Please look into this @DGPMaharashtra @himachalpolice @PunjabPoliceInd.”
In an interview during the promotions of EmergencyKangana Ranaut told a portal, “India could also have seen anarchy like Bangladesh, like in the case of the farmers’ protests. Outside forces are planning to destroy us with the help of people from within. Had it not been for the foresight of our leaders, they would have succeeded.”
Responding to this comment, the Bharatiya Janta Party issued an official statement saying, “The statement made by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut in the context of the farmers’ movement does not reflect the views of the party. The BJP does not agree with the statement made by Kangana Ranaut. On behalf of the party, Kangana Ranaut is not authorised to make any statements on matters of party policy.”
Kangana Ranaut has been elected as a Member of Parliament from the BJP. She leads from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.
