Keeping a close eye on burning Bangladesh, surveillance aircraft of India’s special agency deployed – Global 5000 Aircraft SIGINT India’s Eye in the Sky Near Bangladesh

During this time, the central government has deployed a special aircraft on the Bangladesh border. Its name is Global 5000 Special Mission (SIGINT) aircraft. It is used by R&AW. This aircraft is designed to collect signal intelligence. It is equipped with special advanced electronic warfare and reconnaissance suites.

Given the violence that is taking place against minorities in Bangladesh, the deployment of this aircraft was necessary. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also left the country. This aircraft is actually a modified version of the Bombardier Global 5000 business jet. That is, devices have been installed in it to collect many types of data. Especially intelligence data.

Direct surveillance from the sky over Bangladesh

It is equipped with EL/I-3001 Airborne Integrated Signal Intelligence System, which has been developed by Israel. It can track any kind of signal. Whether it is an electronic signal or a signal used for communication. This means that India will keep an eye on all types of communication taking place on the Bangladesh border.

This aircraft is fitted with a Reccelite reconnaissance pod, which can take high-resolution photographs. Apart from this, it can take out many other types of intelligence related photos. India has two such aircraft, which are stationed at Delhi’s Palam Air Force Station. These have reached the Bangladesh border from Delhi via Lucknow-Patna.

This plane flies at a speed of 934 kilometers per hour and monitors. Its range is 9630 kilometers. It requires only 673 meters of runway for landing. Two people fly this plane together. It can reach a maximum height of 51 thousand feet.
