SDM Khargone Bhaskar Gachle, who reached the spot, said that this accident actually happened due to the fall of a weak pillar. This pillar fell and due to this the dome and roof also fell. The villagers pulled out five workers buried under the debris and took all the injured in an ambulance to the district hospital. He said that this temple was built by the Gawli community. Before this, Dharamshala was also built.
What did the wounded say?
On receiving information about the accident, District Collector Karmaveer Sharma sent SDM and Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat and other officials to the spot and instructed the civil surgeon of the district hospital to provide proper treatment to the injured. The injured said that they were constructing the dome of the temple, the construction of which took 7 months. The temple is being constructed on the banks of the Ruparel river, which was flooded on Monday.
Critical condition of two workers
Amar Singh Chauhan, civil surgeon at Khargone district hospital, said three workers suffered minor injuries, while Pradeep’s palm was crushed and his right wrist severed. Rajesh’s four ribs were broken. He said Pradeep has been referred to Indore.
