The film ‘Lachhminiya’ is made under the banner of Filmania Film Factory and Natrang Entertainment and stars Tanushree Chatterjee and Sintu Singh Sagar. It is produced by Ajitabh Tiwari and directed by Ritesh S Kumar. The film shows how the feudal lords look down on daughters and lower caste daughters and sometimes take unfair advantage of them. When someone protests, their voice is suppressed and a conspiracy is hatched to eliminate those voices that are not suppressed.
