From September 11 to 17, the last departures on both lines will be at 11.30 pm instead of the usual 11 pm.
Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a warning about possible stings from stingrays and jellyfish during the Ganesh festival idol immersions. The 10-day celebrations will conclude with the immersion of numerous large-sized idols in the Arabian Sea on September 17.
The BMC said that ahead of the start of the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival, the Fisheries Department of the Maharashtra government detected a number of dangerous fishes through “test netting”. The process conducted off the coasts of Girgaon and Dadar uncovered several species including Dhomi, Kolambi, Shingti, Blue jellyfish, Ghoda Masa and Chhote Ravas along with jellyfish and rays, PTI reported.
