The Legends League Cricket is all set to return for the third time as the organisers have announced a player auction for one of the most-watched T20 leagues for legendary cricketers. The LLC Auction 2024 will be held on Thursday, August 29 and some of the biggest names in cricket will be up for grabs in the bidding war.
Organizers announced the 2024 LLC schedule and venues with two new legends joining the league. Recently retired Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik are limited to participating in the next league which starts on September 20th.
Dinesh Karthik has been named captain of the Southern Super Stars, who also retained veteran Bangladesh spinner Abdur Razzak on Wednesday. All six teams have retained two or three players and are set to rebuild their squads with over 200 players available in the auction.
The focus will be on Shikhar Dhawan, who captained Punjab Kings in the 2024 Indian Premier League. The veteran left-arm opener announced his decision to retire from international cricket on August 25 and confirmed his participation in the 2024 IPL last Saturday.
