Byeon Woo Seok will be making his return to K-dramas in a special appearance that has an old connection to Strong Girl Namsoon.

Byeon Woo Seok returns to sweep another tvN K-drama after sweeping the ratings with his breakout role in Beautiful corridor next to Kim Hye Yoon.

Byeon Woo Seok will be making a special appearance in No Gain No Love, starring Shin Min A and Kim Young Dae.

The 32-year-old heartthrob will reportedly be making a special appearance in the romantic comedy series No Gain No Love. On August 30, a South Korean media outlet seemingly confirmed his upcoming cameo in the series starring Shin Min A and Kim Young DaeThe production team of No Gain No Love subsequently released a statement, affirming the actor’s status and role in the drama, all thanks to his prior professional commitment to director Kim Jung Sik.

“Byeon Woo Seok will be making a special appearance on ‘No Gain No Love,’” officials announced. “This special appearance came about due to his connection to [the drama’s] director Kim Jung Sik.”

The 20th Century Girl star previously worked with him on JTBC’s Strong Girl Namsoon. Although the series received mixed reactions upon its conclusion last November, K-drama Fans mainly remembered it because of Woo Seok’s presence as the main antagonist.

The romantic comedy title took off with modest TV ratings on August 26. While the premiere earned an average nationwide rating of 3.673%, the second episode raised it a notch higher to 3.801%. The new K-drama Shin Min A is expected to run for 12 episodes, which will conclude in early October.

The Lovely Runner star will be joining the star-studded fun on set, with her special appearance scheduled to be included in next week’s episode.
