LPG prices revised: oil companies increase commercial gas rates

Oil trading companies raised trading prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on September 1. ₹39 per cylinder after four consecutive cuts.

Accordingly, the revised retail price for 19 kilogram (kg) commercial LPG gas cylinder is now ₹1,691.5 in Delhi, according to an ANI report.

The price increase is effective immediately.

In July, oil companies had reduced the price of 19 kg LPG gas cylinder by 30 to provide relief to businesses.

Commercial LPG gas prices fell by ₹69.50 per cylinder in June and for ₹19 per cylinder in May.

In addition to supply and demand dynamics, commercial LPG prices are determined by various factors such as international prices and fiscal policies.

Oil companies also cut ATF prices on September 1.

After the latest review, the price of ATF in Delhi stands at 93,480.22 Kl from 97,975.72 Kl.

In Kolkata, ATF prices have come down to 96,298.44 Kl from 1,00,520.88 Kl, while the revised AFT prices for Mumbai and are 87,432.78 Kl and 97,064.32 Kl, respectively.
