The Maharashtra government has planned to launch Ladli Behna Yojana in the interest of women in the state, for the launch of which all preparations have been made. Under this scheme, a financial assistance of Rs 1,500 will be provided every month to poor women. This amount will be helpful in meeting the basic needs of women and maintaining the family. Maharashtra Ladli Behna Yojana 2024 New Update
The Maharashtra Ladli Behna scheme has been decided to be implemented. Under this scheme, women can start receiving financial assistance from August. Please be informed that during the budget presentation on June 28, the decision to launch the scheme was taken by the state government. Though this scheme has not been implemented yet, the government will soon issue guidelines in this regard.
As per the information, the application forms for the scheme will be filled up till July 15, 2024, after which the list of applicants will be released in the month of July itself. After the release of the list, after suggestions and objections, the final list of beneficiaries will come on August 1, 2024 and the first instalment of ₹ 1500 will be sent to the bank accounts of the eligible women through DBT on August 14. After this, women will likely continue to receive financial assistance on the 15th of every month.
