The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examinations Office has again extended the dates for filling counselling options for Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 exam. Candidates can fill the options or preferences till 5:00 pm on August 30, 2024. The link to fill the options is available on the official website of Maharashtra NEET at medical2024.mahacet.org.

Previously, the last date to complete options was 10am on August 30, 2024.
The preferences or selections entered will be used only for the selection of the respective rounds. The course and faculty selections, once entered online for the respective round, will be final and irrevocable. This final data will be used in the selection process for the respective rounds for admission to first-year Health Sciences courses for the academic year 2024-2025.
The candidate must indicate at least one preference and the maximum desired. It is not mandatory to indicate all preferences.
Maharashtra NEET UG Exam 2024 Counselling: How to fill the options
To complete the options, candidates can follow the steps detailed below.
Visit the official website of Maharashtra NEET at medical2024.mahacet.org.
Log in to the account with the credentials.
Now fill in the options and click submit.
Once this is done, download the confirmation page or take a screenshot of the page.
Keep a printed copy of the same for future needs.
According to the official brochureIf a candidate does not give preference to a code for a particular course and a particular faculty, it means that he/she is not interested/willing to take up that Undergraduate Health Sciences seat. The candidate should note that there will be no changes/additions/deletions in his/her preference list at a later date/stage for the respective round.
The CAP Round 1 selection list for Group A – MBBS/BDS is scheduled to be out on 30th August 2024. The physical joining and filling of status retention can be done from 31st August to 4th September 2024. For more related details, candidates can refer to the official website of MAHACET.
