A man from Pakistan has broken the world record for crushing walnuts with his elbow. In the video shared by the Guinness Book of Records, Muhammad Rashid is seen crushing the walnuts found in a sequence without breaking a sweat. He has crushed over 150 walnuts in 30 seconds to achieve the remarkable feat. Sharing the video on Instagram, the record holder said, “Most walnuts crushed with elbow in 30 seconds… 169 by Muhammad Rashid… Guinness Book of Records.” The video has clocked over 2.7 million views so far.

The world record for the most nuts crushed by hand in one minute is 329 and was achieved by Muhammad Rashid (Pakistan) in Karachi, Pakistan on 17 September 2023. In 2021, Muhammad Rashid earned the world record title for crushing the most nuts using his elbow in one minute. The count was 315. Back then, Rashid had told GWR that he “practices 4-5 hours a day.”

He added: “The first time I broke this record it was easy but as time went by it became more and more difficult as many other players broke it. Speed ​​and concentration were a bit more difficult during that training. I injured my elbow several times during the training period but that didn’t stop me as I was eager to regain this record at any cost.”
