The MCC extended the registration deadline for this round due to the addition of 225 MBBS seats. The seat allotment results will show the NEET Rankassigned quota, institute, course, category and any observations.
As per the revised schedule, candidates allotted seats in this round are required to report to their designated colleges between September 20 and 27. The MCC advised, “Report any discrepancy in the provisional result to the DGHS MCC by email at [email protected] before 11 am on September 20.”
Candidates who have secured a seat in the second round may opt to upgrade by personally reporting to the allotted university. If they secure a higher seat, they must obtain a waiver letter from their first round seat and join the new one. Those who do not join their allotted seats in the second round will forfeit their security deposit.

After this round, registration for the third round of NEET UG 2024 counselling will begin on October 3 and will end on October 8. Candidates can fill their choices from October 5, and the choice locking window will be available on October 8 from 4:00 pm to 11:55 pm.
