MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: Round 2 Seat Allotment Result to be released today : Education News | Education News

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to release the NEET UG 2024 second round counselling results today, 19th September 2024. The MCC Neet second round result will be available on its official website i.e. mcc.nic.in.

To check the NEET counselling allotment results, candidates can log on to its official website and use their login credentials i.e. NEET counselling registration number and date of birth. After delaying earlier, the counselling committee is finally planning to release the result today.

The results of the second round of MCC Neet 2024 counselling will be announced for admission to 15 per cent seats in government and dental colleges, while 100 per cent seats in deemed and central universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER. Candidates are required to report to the allotted institution with their Neet UG allotment letter and other essential details between September 20 and September 27.


MCC added new seats

The Medical Advisory Committee recently revised the counselling schedule to incorporate new seats added. The official MCC notice reads, “For the information of all the candidates, the competent authority has decided to extend the schedule for Round 2 of Undergraduate Counselling 2024 and revise the schedule for subsequent rounds to add new seats in the Round 2 matrix in accordance with the new Letters of Permission (LoPs) issued by NMC/MoHFW.”

Here are the simple steps to check the seat allotment for NEET 2024 Round 2:

  • Visit the official website i.e. mcc.nic.in.
  • On the homepage, look for the ‘UG Medical’ section.
  • In the next step, check the ‘Seat Allocation Result’ link.
  • On the redirected page, enter your login credentials i.e. Neet UG number and password.
  • Neet 2024 Allotment Results will open on your screen.
  • You can check and download the Neet 2024 result.
  • Please print a copy for future reference.


What documents are required to apply to university?

Here are the simple steps to follow when applying to a college for NEET counselling:

  • NEET Admit Card
  • NEET Scorecard
  • 10th grade report card and certificate
  • Grade 12 Report Card and Certificate
  • Migration certificate
  • Award letter issued by NMC
  • Caste certificate
  • Certificate of domicile
  • Valid, current, government-issued photo ID.
  • Eight passport-sized photographs matching those appearing on the application form.
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • NRI candidates must bring a copy of the sponsor’s passport, an embassy certificate, an affidavit of sponsorship confirming the sponsor’s commitment to cover all study expenses, and an affidavit of relationship detailing his/her connection with the sponsor.
