Exclusive motorsports edition: Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the 2025 AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ ‘Motorsport Collectors Edition’, a highly limited run. The model is being launched in conjunction with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and is limited to just 200 units. This special edition is designed to reflect the connection to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team, with several design elements derived from the team’s racing cars.

F1-inspired exterior design: The car is finished in an exclusive Obsidian Black metallic paint, which draws direct inspiration from the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 car. The exterior is further enhanced by hand-painted silver Mercedes stars along the side and rear of the vehicle. Petronas-coloured detailing runs across the bodywork, starting with the front fenders and extending along the beltline to the roof, echoing the team’s signature colours.

Carbon Fiber Aerodynamics: To further link the vehicle to motorsport, the front splitter, side panels, rear diffuser and air intake flics are accented in Petronas Aqua Blue. The use of carbon fibre in the AMG Aerodynamics Package and AMG Carbon Fibre Exterior Package emphasises the vehicle’s focus on high-speed performance. A fixed rear spoiler adds aerodynamic stability and helps reduce lift.

Special Edition Wheels: The car’s wheels are just as distinctive as the rest of its design. The 21-inch AMG double-spoke forged wheels are finished in black, with Petronas-coloured wheel flanges to match the overall design. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres come as standard, with 295/30 ZR21 tyres at the front and 305/30 ZR21 at the rear.

Powertrain and Availability: Under the hood, the car retains the same powerful 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine as the standard AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+. This engine produces 612 PS, ensuring that the special edition maintains the high performance standards expected from AMG. The company has also introduced some “aerodynamic tweaks” to reduce lift and improve cooling, further enhancing driving dynamics. While pricing has not been announced yet, this limited-edition model is unlikely to be available in the Indian market.
