Meteorological department warns of rain in Delhi

The Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of rain in some parts of Delhi even today. The humid heat in Delhi along with light rain is once again worrying people.

Monsoon is currently active in the country’s capital Delhi. It has been raining continuously in Delhi-NCR for the past few days. The Met Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in many areas of Delhi NCR on Friday, August 16. IMD estimates that the sky will be cloudy in Delhi tomorrow (August 16). Light rain may also occur. The Met Department estimates that the rainy season will continue in Delhi NCR till August 21 next. Light rain may occur during this period. There is also a possibility of heavy rain at some places.

Monsoon is active in Delhi
The Meteorological Department has said that monsoon is currently active in Delhi. It has been raining in the national capital for several days now. On Sunday (August 12), it rained heavily in the national capital Delhi and the NCR region. Many areas were knee-deep in water. There was 2.9 mm of rain. Due to heavy rains, traffic jams occurred at many places. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in Delhi throughout the week.

On August 15, there was light rain in Delhi. Due to this, people are once again facing scorching heat. However, the Meteorological Department has warned that heavy rains may fall in many areas in the late afternoon. Apart from this, there will also be clouds over the sky of Delhi on August 16. There is a possibility of heavy rains in many places.
