Light rain may also occur. The Met Department estimates that the rainy season will continue in Delhi NCR till August 21 next. Light rain may occur during this period. There is also a possibility of heavy rain at some places.
Monsoon is active in Delhi
The Meteorological Department has said that monsoon is currently active in Delhi. It has been raining in the national capital for several days now. On Sunday (August 12), it rained heavily in the national capital Delhi and the NCR region. Many areas were knee-deep in water. There was 2.9 mm of rain. Due to heavy rains, traffic jams occurred at many places. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in Delhi throughout the week.
