“Trump said ‘I like you’ and Elon Musk started giggling like a nervous schoolgirl. He’s a youngster,” one person wrote on X.
Another user commented: “Elon Musk laughs like a girl at Donald Trump.”
A third person wrote: “Trump made Elon Musk blush and laugh on Twitter right now. Can life get any more unserious?”
Another user wrote: “I just started listening to the show with Trump and Elon Musk and I see what they’re saying. That guy is stuttering like crazy. Does he normally talk like this? Or is he nervous?”
The chat was initially delayed after users reported being unable to access the stream. Musk attributed the issues to a “massive” cyberattack on X.
“It appears there’s a massive DDOS attack on 𝕏. We’re working to disable it. Worst case scenario, we’ll proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and publish the conversation later,” Musk wrote on X. “We tested the system with 8 million concurrent listeners earlier today.”
Ahead of his interview with Musk, Trump returned to posting on X after a year-long hiatus. He shared three campaign videos highlighting his vision for the United States. He also criticized his opponent, whom he referred to as “San Francisco radical Kamala Harris.”
Trump last posted on the social media site on August 24, 2023, when he highlighted his mugshot with the caption: “Election Interference. Never Give Up!”
