Jharkhand News |Chandil (Seraikela), Himanshu Gop: After taking off from Sonari Airport in Jamshedpur, the NDRF team reached Chandil Dam, adjacent to Jamshedpur, to search for the missing boat. The team started searching for the Alchemist Aviation training aircraft at Chandil Dam on Wednesday. However, the aircraft has not been found yet.
Tuesday morning around 11:30 jamshedpur The Alchemist Aviation training aircraft went missing after taking off from Sonari Airport. An instructor and a trainee pilot were on board the aircraft. About 20 minutes after takeoff, it lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC) at Sonari Airport.
Following this, ATC continuously tried to contact him but could not be reached. The search for the plane is continuing since then. The NDRF team reached the Chandil Dam at 9.30 am on Wednesday and started preparations to enter the dam.
After about an hour, the NDRF landed an 11-member team along with two boats and other equipment at the dam at 10:30 am. Since then, search efforts for the plane are on. SDO Shubhra Rani, SDPO Sunil Kumar Rajwar, BDO Taleshwar Ravidas and others were present on the banks of the Chandil dam along with the NDRF team.
