NEET UG 3rd counseling for MBBS and BDS admission from 7th, seats can be updated, 573 vacancies, career news

The third counseling of NEET UG 2024 in UP is proposed from October 7. Candidates who have secured their seats in the first and second phases will also be eligible to participate in the third phase of counselling. For the first time these candidates had the opportunity to participate in the third assessment. At the same time, some private medical colleges pressure these candidates to be admitted immediately without waiting for a third consultation. Action may be taken against some of these universities. In fact, this time there has been a slight change in the advice standards. Until now, candidates who had secured seats in the first phase could only participate in the second phase of counseling to improve their seats. But this time these candidates will be able to upgrade the positions allotted in the first and second phase up to the third round of counselling.

This has also been clearly mentioned in the directory prepared for admission. Despite this, some private medical colleges are pressuring these candidates to immediately complete the hostel fees and other formalities. They are threatened that if they do not accept admission immediately, the admission will be canceled and a notice will be sent declaring the seat vacant. In this regard, officials of the General Directorate of Medical Education have clarified that the role of the faculties in the process of allotment and admission of places is only to provide admission to the candidate in the faculty in which he has been allotted a place from the nodal center. . . No university has the right to declare places vacant. Action will be taken against any school against which a complaint is received in this matter.
