NEET UG Counselling 2024: MCC Round 1 begins tomorrow, check complete details here

The Medical Advisory Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will initiate the registration process for counselling for the National Eligibility and Undergraduate Entrance Examination. (NEET-UG) 2024 Starting Wednesday, August 14th.

The MCC will administer the counselling process for MBBS and BDS seats of 15% All India Quota (AIQ). Eligible candidates, who have qualified for the NiNi and 2024 You can apply for it on the official website at mcc.nic.in.

According to the official schedule, the registration window for Round 1 will remain available between August 14 and August 20 (12 noon), while the paid service will be available from August 14 to August 20 (3 pm).

The option filling period will begin on August 16 and end on August 20 at 11:55 p.m. and option blocking will be available to candidates from 4:00 p.m. to 11:55 p.m. on August 20.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) and participating institutes will conduct verification of tentative seat matrix from August 14-15, while processing of seat allotment for Round 1 will be done from August 21-22. The results of seat allotment for Round 1 will be declared on August 23.

Candidates must then report to their assigned institute between August 24 and 29.

As per reports, the counselling process is being conducted for 1,09,145 MBBS seats as well as 27,868 Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) seats across India. Apart from this, nearly 1,000 Bachelor of Nursing seats will also be allotted through NEET counselling along with several others in AYUSH and veterinary courses.

Step 2: Select the NEET UG 2024 counselling tab.

Step 3: A new link will appear to register for NEET UG 2024 counselling. Open it and fill in all the details.

Step 4: Proceed to log in and complete the application process.

Step 5: Provide all necessary documents and pay the registration fee.

Step 6: Please download the completed application form and print it for future reference.

Verification of the seating matrix for round 2 of the NEET AND The consultation will take place on September 4 and 5, while the registration process will start on September 5 and will run until September 10 (12 pm). Candidates will be able to pay for three more hours, that is, until 3 pm on September 10.
