Nestasia: Home decor firm Nestasia raises $8.35M from Susquehanna Asia and others

Home decor and lifestyle brand Nestasia has raised $8.35 million in a round of funding Susquehanna Asia VC, Stellaris Venture Partners and other angel investors.

The funds will be used to expand its physical stores, launch new categories, build the brand and hire staff.

Founded in 2019 by Aditi Murarka Agrawal and Anurag Agrawal, the startup offers a curated range of home décor and lifestyle items. With around 4,000 SKUs across six key categories, food stands out as the largest and accounts for 50% of the company’s revenue.

The company plans to expand its product offering in kitchenware, beverages, cookware and appliances, as well as launch new thematic categories such as Nest Baby & Kids, focused on household products for children, among others.

“Offline sales currently account for around 10% of our revenue as we have only recently ventured into this space. Our website contributes around 55%, and the rest comes from marketplace and fast commerce platforms,” Agrawal told ET in an interaction.


Last year, Nestasia expanded its physical presence across six cities and established seven exclusive brand outlets. The company plans to open 30 stores by the end of 2025.

For the upcoming festive season, Nestasia plans to boost sales with new brand initiatives, weekly product launches, and focused efforts across its website, marketplaces, fast commerce platforms, and physical stores. “The brand has always been very focused on special occasions, introducing new products every week. Occasions and events are important to Nestasia, and the festive season is one of the most important for the brand,” she said.

According to Agrawal, the company closed FY23 with revenues of Rs 27 crore and achieved 70% growth in FY24. “We aim to achieve an annual revenue run rate of Rs 1,000 crore in four years,” he added.

He got up for the last time $4 million in funding round led by Stellaris in 2021.
