For the third time on Friday, a fresh tender was floated for the financial year 2024-25 with a security deposit amount of Rs 40 lakh. The settlement date is fixed for seven months from September 1 to March 31, 2025. The publication time is scheduled for August 22 at 11 am. Earlier, the pre-bidding related to the post will be held on August 20 at 11 am at the corporation office. Revenue inspector Bhupendra Singh said that necessary information related to Sairat will be provided to the postman interested in the pre-bidding. The alternative publication dates are scheduled for August 24, 28 and 30.

The authority of Darbhanga Regional Transport Corporation had fixed the security deposit amount for eight months at Rs 1 crore 19 lakh 89 thousand 720. But later the corporation administration took the initiative and sent a proposal to reduce the fares at the departmental level for the financial year 2024-25. After which, the security deposit amount for eight months liquidation in the financial year 2024-25 was fixed at Rs 51 lakh 94 thousand 800. Despite this, the contractors did not show interest in the tender. The corporation’s administration announced that a new tender had been launched with a new reduction in tariffs.

In the financial year 2015-16, the settlement of Karpuri Bus Stand under the Municipal Council (Improved Municipal Corporation) was done for a total of Rs 40 lakh 46 thousand 51. After this, in the year 2016-17, the Darbhanga Regional Transport Corporation authority doubled the settlement rate to Rs 1 crore 91 lakh. After this, due to high base price, contractors did not show interest in the post. The tender for Karpuri Bus Stand has failed continuously for the last nine years.
