Noida: Accused of molesting 4-year-old student arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days

Noida : The accused has been arrested by the police in the case of sexual abuse of a four-year-old girl at a prestigious private school in Noida and the court has sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. Giving this information, the police said that the accused is an employee of the school.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone I) Manish Kumar Mishra said on Thursday that the girl studying in a school located in Sector 27 had told her mother that the brother who gives her the badge had done dirty things to her.

He said investigation revealed that Nityanand, a resident of Nithari village, committed obscene acts with the girl in the school. After that, the girl became scared and did not tell anyone at school or at home and began to remain silent.

He said that when his parents asked him about this, he told them everything.

Mishra said the girl’s family lodged a case in this regard at the Sector 20 police station on October 10. After registering the incident report, the police arrested the accused on October 11. He was presented before the local court, which sent him to judicial custody for 14 days.

He said that the arrested accused works as a sweeper in Nityananda School and a few days ago he was hired by another agency.

This case of sexual abuse of a four-year-old girl in a private school located in Sector 27 of the Sector 20 police station area came to light when the girl informed her family about the incident. The girl’s family complained at the police station, following which the police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO).

It is alleged that the school management tried to cover up the incident. The school management issued a statement saying that the police examined the footage from CCTV cameras installed inside the school, but no evidence related to the incident was found. The school’s management has said it will cooperate in the investigation.
