Pakistan vs Bangladesh Test: Pakistan-Bangladesh Test will not be held in Karachi… Know why it had to be shifted: Pakistan vs Bangladesh second Test has been shifted from Karachi to Rawalpindi due to construction work for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 tspo

Karachi Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh: These days, Bangladesh is going through a phase of trying to achieve stability after the coup and riots. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already left the country. Mohammad Yusuf has become the interim prime minister. There is still a tense situation in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, the cricket team is touring Pakistan, where it has to play a 2-Test series. But before that, a big news is coming out.

The second Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan was to be held in Karachi, which has now been shifted. This match will now be played in Rawalpindi. The main reason for this shift is the renovation work at the National Stadium in Karachi. This work is being carried out in preparation for the Champions Trophy to be held next year.

For this reason, the Karachi test was moved to Rawalpindi.

Let us tell you that earlier it was also said that cheap tickets of Rs 15 each would be sold for this match. But after that, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued a statement saying that this second Test in Karachi will be played in an empty stadium without spectators due to construction work.

But now PCB has changed its decision. They have changed the competition itself. On Sunday (August 18), PCB cited the reason for not holding the match at the Karachi stadium and said that the stadium had been shifted so that the players would not face any problems due to noise pollution.

PCB officials said that a lot of dust will be generated during the renovation, which may cause problems for players, broadcasters and media. They do not want to delay the renovation work and want to have everything completed for the upcoming Champions Trophy. This is the reason why the decision to shift the match was taken in the end.

A match between Pakistan and England will also be held here.

Let us tell you that Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan next year. This tournament will start from February 19. PCB said that before shifting the match, they had discussed everything with the stakeholders.

Before the Champions Trophy, also in October this year, a match of the Pakistan-England series will be played in Karachi. In such a situation, PCB does not want to take any chances. The first match of the Pakistan-Bangladesh series will be played in Rawalpindi from August 21 to 25. While the second and final match will also be played in Rawalpindi between August 30 and September 3.
