However, she could still have a chance to compete for the bronze medal.

Earlier, in the round of 16, Reetika Hooda defeated her Hungarian opponent Bernadett Nagy in the women’s freestyle 76kg category at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
She dominated in the first round and scored 4 points, while Nagy managed to score 2 points.
However, in the second round, Reetika dominated from the start and moved 12 points ahead of Nagy, who managed to score 2 points. She defeated Hungarian fighter Bernadett Nagy by technical superiority 10-2.
Meanwhile, India clinched its first ever bronze medal in wrestling on August 9, when Aman Sehrawat (57kg) won the bronze medal, defeating Darian Cruz of Puerto Rico 13-5.
